Joshua Surgery Wednesday

Hi family and friends,

Just a reminder that we'd appreciate it if you'd say a quick prayer for Joshua this week--around 12:30 pm on Wed., May 27. He's having hernia surgery (right side). They'll also probe the left side as well to see if that also has a hernia. And they'll be lowering his right testicle fully (it had been headed all the way down, but still not completely descended, so they'll take care of everything at once). It's routine surgery, but of course, any time someone close to you is "going under" and getting cut open, it's a scary thought. And I believe it's even a bit more scary when it's a 2-year-old. We'll try to post Thursday how things went.
