We're 4! We're not even one tiny bit "toddler-like" any more, mommy and daddy say. I loved my birthday again this year. So many friends and family came to celebrate with us, even with the snow on the morning of our "family party." Snow! Sheesh.
It was a Disney party this year, because we're going to Disney World in the fall! We're so excited.
I had the best cake ever (mommy told me to write that)--she made me a Disney Mack truck cake. I got to eat lots and lots of frosting while she was making it. Joshua and I knew that we needed to try every color frosting--quality control, you know. It took her a long time.
Joshua's cake was also really cool. He had a Disney Lightning McQueen cake. We're so excited for "Cars 2" to come out in theaters in June.
Grandma Jorgenson always makes one of our cakes each year. This year, she made Ellie's princess cake. Ellie had lots of specifications for her cake, and grandma made all of them. Ellie LOVED the cake (so much so that she didn't actually like that the cake was cut into and given to others to eat...but that's another story...).
The party was so fun. I loved the games and trying out my new bike from Grandma and Grandpa Jorgenson. I'm getting really good at pedaling fast.
The next day we had some neighbor friends over, but we were all so tired we barely got any pictures at the party. We had an ice cream cake for our friend party, but Ellie got a bit sad about that cake, too (she didn't want to have to share a cake with Joshua and me). She got over it, though, and we had a fun day :-)

Our real birthday was on Monday, and it was the best! We got to ride on all the rides we wanted at the Mall of America, for free! (Birthday perk.) We rode and rode and rode and rode. We even rode on some rides that made mommy a bit worried. But we loved all of them. My favorites were the kid roller coaster, the Diego bus, and the tower dropper thing.
We ate lunch at the Rainforest Cafe with our Grandma and Grandpa Aars (Grandma Jorgenson came that day, too). We loved having our Texas grandparents in town for our birthday. They come up every year several times, and they always make sure to be at our birthday. It makes me feel very special. I LOVE the present they got us this year--a Leapster Explorer with some new games. It's like a tiny computer. We would play it all day if mom would let us!

The week after our birthday was already Easter. We were very busy that weekend, too. We had an Easter egg "hunt" at our church (dad says it wasn't really a hunt since thousands of eggs were just strewn across the lawn). All of us got something like 2 dozen filled eggs. Yum!
On Sunday we were mostly at our Jorgenson grandparents' house. They hid eggs outside and a basket for us inside. Yummy, delicious candy. Marshmallows are my favorite.
When we got home, we saw what the Easter bunny had left us. More yummy candy!
It was a great couple of weeks! We love being 4 :-)
